Has anyone got an idea of what this machine is?

Post by Cody K »

Found online, no response yet from the seller as to ID. Does anyone recognize this? I'm wondering if it might be a British Columbia machine. Nice cabinet. Thanks...

It appears to be a Columbia Koester electric phonograph. (I do not remember the Viva-Tonal model number)
I can check later - it is pictured on quite a few sleeves. I have run across these before but they always seem to be gutted.
If complete it has one of my favorite horse shoe pick ups - on a yoke similar to Capehart's zero tangent design.

It's a Model 920, low end of the 900 series consoles.

Thanks, gents. This seems to be yet another one of those cases where a seller posts something for sale online, then can't be bothered to respond. I do appreciate the ID information though.
