After attending the APS show for a number of years I found that taking my wife with me created an odds losing battle when it came to attending the dinner. But this years dinner was different...after viewing Janet Klein's videos online with my wife a decision was made to attend the dinner. I would always attend them on my own-but hey this give and take is what keeps a marriage alive...and I need a navigator-I get lost in my back yard so I have only made a few of them.
Yes there was some tech-but the manner in which it was done kept both our interests. And the food...it was great!
While this might seem past tense as the event happened some time ago listening to one of Janet's CD's last night got us talking about it during breakfast this morning.
So we both(Barb) and I would like to say "thank you" to the officers of APS and especially to Program Director John Levin for putting on a great dinner show-after doing a number of these types of events I know that it is not easy.
So John and crew "whatcha gonna do next year?"

Re: APS show and sale
The APS banquet with silent auction and program is an outstanding feature that is unique to that particular sale. The programs have been outstanding for several years and this year was no exception. I second Abe's thanks to John Levin and the rest of the APS crew for not only a great banquet but also a fun weekend. Can't wait for next year. Jerry Blais

Re: APS show and sale
Thanks Abe, Jerry, and Mike for your positive feedback. I have passed along a link to this thread to the folks in the "California Contingent" who were responsible for this year's festivities. It was indeed a huge undertaking, and my understanding is that a few folks invested a significant amount of their own money into making it happen. It's a privilege to be associated with these people.
