Edison B-60 record cabinet

Post by Dustie89 »

I hear there were record cabinets to go with the Edison B-60 phonographs. Does anyone have a picture showing what they looked like.

Thanks
Dustin

I also heard they made cabinets for the B-80 and the B-19 (Chalet).
Again, I have never saw any and would love to have one for my B-19 in Natural.

Here are some photos I took of a B80 cabinet I picked up for another forum member some years ago. My apologies for not getting the whole cabinet in the shot; these were just taken quickly to show the condition as it passed through my hands.

MicaMonster had a B 19 and matching cabinet in "Naturel" listed on the Trader forum earlier this summer, IIRC.

Try a search for his post.

Frow has a photo of a B- (or C-) 60 with matching cabinet, in his book on the DD phonographs.

You're right Bill, it's a "matching" mission style cabinet for the what appears to be a B (or C) 60 on page 195. Thanks. :)

Fran - I'm the new proud owner of the red gumwood B19 with the matching cabinet - bought it from Wyatt and she's a beauty and sounds oh so good :)
