Hi folks,
My brother found a Grafanola 0-5 with an incorrect (and broken, anyway) tonearm. He asked me to learn about the correct one for him.
It interacts with an automatic stop feature, and none of the original tonearm is present, including the mounting flange and soundbox.
I realize they are cast pot metal, so I assume that most are probably junk.
What is the likelihood of finding a good one, how much can he expect to spend on one, are they something commonly found loose, or should we just look for an entire parts machine?
I know next to nothing about these particular machines, so any pointers are appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Fran
