What a Little Cleaning can Do

Picked up this Fireside with a maroon two piece Fireside horn and seventy cylinders in upstate NY. I was told that the machine had been sitting in thier parents basement for years. The machine was pretty dirty and needed a good cleaning. I have said this before but I'll say it again. I use Meguiars Scratch X 2.0 to clean up the bedplates. It does a great job in my opinion. What do you think?

It looks great! Any problems with color loss on the gold and blue decals using the Meguiars?

No, it actually puts a luster back on the protective coating on the bedplates. If the shellac coating is gone you have to be careful on the pinstriping.

Looks great! I will be working on a Fireside Model A when it arrives. Where can I get this stuff to clean the bedplate at?
