Can't be from the Korean War, since stereo wasn't around then. I'd suspect Vietnam War era? The price is pretty cheap, but I don't like the fact that it "may or may not be complete."

It looks like it may have been made by Califone, but I'm not sure.

I'm with you-post Korea. It is an interesting collectible. It's tempting at that price for a electronics whiz I'd imagine.
