Finally finished!!

Post by cweastlick »

Here are a few pics of my Victor I. When I got it, it was covered in dirt, no motor, no turntable, no elbow or support arm. This horn came with it so I cleaned it up and straightened some of the dents. It has some scratches around the flowers but I think I'll leave them. Thanks to everyone on The Talking Machine Forum for feedback and pointing me in the right direction for parts, details, etc. I think I'll leave it in the living room to enjoy for a while.

That's a beauty! :)

What an appealing horn... It's so unusual to see anything other than the Victor-supplied horns on these machines that an aftermarket horn like yours really grabs one's attention.

Congratulations - - you brought that one back from the brink, and well worth the effort. :)

That is a beautiful machine. You did a great job saving this one and the horn is outstanding.

With as many parts as you were missing, we know this took a lot of effort to put everything

together, so congratulations on a job well done.

All the best,

David & Lerria

As stated above....a super looking machine. The small size and beautiful horn make very easy to display anywhere.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as saving a small part of history. Hopefully future generations will continue to value treasures like this. Congratulations! :D

Congratulations, it shows that a bit of effort is well worth the end result!.
I particularly like the flowered horn which lifts this machines appeal. :D
