Yes, it is a reproduction. I revised the listing to include this fact, I have had it about one year, ordered it instead of a nickel one and would have cost more for me to ship in exchange than to deal with. I offer it for less than I have paid with postage included (lower 48 states). I purchased a nickel one, but for those that like the brass look, then this may work.
