Free VE-7-3 on Minneapolis craigslist
The title says it all. There's even the correct reproducer. Jerry

Hmmm. Some fertile pickin's if you search "victrola" on that CL! Not only can a person cop the free 7-3, but there's also an oak C-19/C-250 (maybe no reproducer) and a VV-1-70 (with the wrong reproducer) at 75 bucks each -- plus a Silvertone pseudophonic, which might be nice, at twenty-five. A Granada for $25, and another oak Edison (C-150?) (with reproducer) for a low-ish price, too. Somebody with a truck could assemble a nice little collection of winter projects in short order, utilizing relatively little cash. Because nobody can ever have too many winter projects, as I'm sure all will agree.
But seriously, some interesting stuff there.

Re: Free VE-7-3 on Minneapolis craigslist
I contacted them about that 7-3 two or three times and got no response. I was up that way yesterday picking up a really nice L-door Victrola that was listed on craigslist. I have three of those 7-3 machines and figured I might be able to use some of the parts of that one, but it's a three hour drive from north Iowa up there and I won't make the trip just for what's left of that machine. I'll get two put together with what I already have, but those things are a labor of love as I'm sure even with a working Radiola 20 they are a tough sell. That machine must have been a good seller up in the Minneapolis area, as that has to be the 6th or 7th one I've seen come up for sale up that way in the last couple of years.
