(Cliff- didn't make this available to us, before Ebay? )
I was going to post the eBay auction to the forum this morning but "audiophile102" beat me to it.

Were there any traces of grille-cloth left on the back-side of the grille ?

If so, what color ?

Frank
There was a tacky red cloth tacked onto the back of the grill, no trace of any other. I have some golden bronze silk for grill cloth, should make a good match to the oak finish. I'll post pictures when the glue dries. Cliff

Thanks Cliff... I found a few threads of medium green chintz here and there in the back-side of the grille of my oak C-19, embedded in what looks like shellac or hide-glue. My mahogany C-19 has a gold silk cloth with a slight sheen...

Very nice machine you're offering ! :)

Not really too expensive for a nice example, and this seems to be one. (Would be nice if it had grill cloth however.)
I added a grill cloth. A definite improvement. Cliff

I regret suggesting that your fine c-19 was priced too high. I paid considerably less for my A250, but apparently I underestimated the great deal I was given. Good luck with the sale. At least everyone agrees with me that it's a beauty.

I have a nice C-19 in oak that is all original. The grille cloth on mine is green.
