Early VICTOR Table Top Gramophone Model VV-IX 0416734
Looks like the arm is not attached, unfortunately, so needs work. What would something like this be worth restored?

$250 - 300 USD in "restored" / respectfully cleaned, operating condition ?
Looks like the tapering arm just slipped out from under the upper pin. That should only take a few minutes with a screwdriver to correct.
Pretty common machine, decent performer (two spring motor), oak cabinet is a plus in my opinion.
I grew-up with a red mahogany IX.

Well judging by the pictures it´s gone through a motor change - to a motor that wasn´t compatible with the original crankshaft... that does not exactly add to the worth of this machine, which otherwise is nice... the right motor could possibly be found?

I'm not seeing a problem with the tone arm. I'd say it's worth $75 - $100 as it sits. (That's assuming it has the correct motor in it now.)

Thanks guys. On the 2nd pic, bottom right corner there's a hole, looks like something's missing. Plus, as you all said we don't know the condition inside like the motor or spring. It's already up to $65CAD and will probably increase, but if it's still sitting at $65 at closing I might take a chance on it.

That hole in the corner of the motor board is for a lift-knob, similar to what is on the horn doors.
I did not see the plugged hole in the wind-side of the machine.
I think this machine might be a pig in a poke.

It didn't bring much, selling for $89.21 U.S. $. Not surprising I guess given the big red flag of the plugged winding crank hole.
