While On The Subject Of Labels...

Post by SonnyPhono »

I am interested if anyone has any of these labels. Even though a few are pretty late, (compared to what is normally shared on this forum) there is next to nothing when it comes to information about them. Just wanted to share and hear any thoughts.

Love this one, Trappey's was a hot sauce...I guess making this a form of advertisement?

I like the green.

This is a Queen, produced by the King Records Co.

Hi Sonny,

I see all of those late labels quite frequently. My interest pretty much cuts off about 1940 at the very latest, so I tend to pass on them when I find them. The 'Puritan' label variety you show is probably among the earliest if not the earliest. Don't see that one very often at all. The purple Brunny is very common.
