Now this is a neat machine, It has a very nice grill.
I always just get so fascinated by these off brand machines.

I thought the same thing. There has to be a million off brands with that similar cabinet design.
The grille is what caught my eye, it's pretty cool.

I was considering buying a Universal Talking Machine as my first machine a few years ago. It was listed on CL Rockford but was a bit too pricey and I decided instead to go with a bigger brand for my first. I really liked the grille and cabinet design plus I'm originally from Rockford so thought it would be neat to own a talking machine branded and sold by a Rockford company. I never went to see it in person but from the fuzzy photos it looked pretty nice:
If the eBay machine were not too much further than a quick errand away from me I might be tempted to grab it and try to squeeze it into my teeny house just because of the Rockford connection. Thanks for posting!
