Horn Cone Repair ?

Does anyone on the forum know of an individual with the talent and correct metal working tools (beading, forming etc) to replace a missing cone-end on a small flowered horn?

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Ronnie, Thank you for the endorsement but "manufacturing" the bottom end of the horn is beyond my pay grade and knowledge. The likely trouble is even a band instrument shop would be better at soldering - not the beading or folded seams that are typical on phono horns. Band instruments dont use them. I am unaware of anyone or any company offering such service. Maybe a metal Fabrication company that makes enclosures?

Shawn, maybe the Norm & Jaynene Smith could provide you with a lead....John

What you need is a Tinsmith- check with historical & museum sources.

The bottom ends are available from Wyatts but you will have to find someone that can fit it and solder it on.
