Hi,
I'm still learning stuff even though it may be simple. Please tell how the "IN" "OUT" "STOP" feature works under the platter and stamped in to the motor board.
thanks!!

Pull the knob out to start the machine. Push in to stop. The speed control is the knurled portion and turn to adjust the speed. Jerry

Re: Columbia Grafonloa Tabletop Motor Operation
thanks jerry but that's not what I meant. it is a grafonola, I think model d-2. if you take the turntable off of the spindle, underneath on the nickel plated motor board is a small lever. on the board is stamped "in" "out" and "stop". I hope this explains it better.

Re: Columbia Grafonloa Tabletop Motor Operation
This is to activate or deactivate the non-set automatic stop. Here is a link to a Columbia manual that describes it: http://www.nipperhead.com/old/colgraf.htm
Hope that helps.
