Don't Forget!

Post by phonogfp »

If you're like me, it's pretty easy to think, "I'll do that as soon as I finish this." I've made mental notes to respond to postings on this forum just as soon as I had read all the other threads. And then the next day, I've been surprised to read more postings on that earlier thread - - but none from me! My working rule for many many years has been "DO IT NOW!" But I don't always follow it...

During my professional life, colleagues would sometimes compliment me on how quickly I acted on various projects. Little did they know that such "efficiency" was merely my tactic to ensure that I didn't forget it altogether... ;)

It's time to renew membership in the Antique Phonograph Society and continue to receive The Antique Phonograph journal. There has been a nice response to earlier reminders posted here, and sincere thanks go out to all of you who have "DONE IT NOW!" Many more of us have been sidetracked by other, more pressing, often more important matters - especially this time of year. So here's one more reminder to renew... You can do it in a few keystrokes right here:

I got so carried away that I renewed twice, so I'm good to go until 2018.
