2 Spring Victor Motor on eBay

Post by CDBPDX »

Just finished putting this motor back together and it works fine. I cleaned and greased everything, still has the original springs, they seem to be in pretty good condition.

Watch it run on YouTube here:

Thanks! Cliff

It takes a bit of effort to crank it.

According to Baumbach (not Frow :? ), this direct winding motor was used until mid 1914, then the winding was changed to indirect, requiring less effort to crank. It came off a VV-VI.

This was also used in the early Victrola VIII. They were made from 1911-1913 or 14.
