COLUMBIA DICTAPHONE?

I don't and can't find out what year this would have been made? I gave 250.00 for it and just hope I didn't buy a boat anchor. I have enough of them. If its early, I will be happy.

The "Columbia Phonograph Company" dates it to no later than 1913. That's about all I can offer.

Thanks G.P. That is what I wanted to know. 1913 is old enough. I just hope all the parts are there. I can't see under the top, and I can't get the seller to answer me. If they want paid, they will answer sometime. It is the Holidays and everyone don't stay by their PC like we do.
Can you guys tell if this is all here by these pictures they just sent me. Looks like it would have had a bag?
