WANTED: Cabinet for Graphophone ES / ESL

Hi,

A friend in Europe is looking for an empty cabinet for a Graphophone ES / ESL.

Picture from catalog is approximately the correct cabinet (different mechanism inside), please PM and I can pass on details.

And here the (AMAZING) Slot Grand, which is the same cabinet as needed - this one is spring wound therefore a winder hole. ES is electric

Plan B would be to rebuild / reproduce the cabinet.

I wish I could help - an exciting machine. Half my collection is spare bits, just for these haystack eventualities, but this particular needle I do not have. Can you maybe keep us updated on progress - with photo's?

The ES is in the same cabinet as the AS (I have one) and not the SG, which is much larger. Apart from the winding hole and location of the hearing tube outlet an AS cabinet is identical. One of these could easily be adjusted to suit the ES which is much rarer. Mike Tucker
