Yes - presuming the reproducer and especially the stylus is in good condition. The Automatic and early model B reproducers have a lighter weight and utilize a ball shape stylus which helps in reducing wear during playback of the brown wax cylinders relative to the later model C with the heavier fantail weight and doorknob shape stylus.

Thanks Doug. I'll have to find out if the stylus is ok. Not sure what all needs to be done to this machine. I'll find out when it arrives. Hopefully, I can get it going again without too much trouble or too many parts. I know the bottom board on the case is gone but the machine seems to be pretty much intact. Here's hoping

I can see some letters on the wing, that should say "REPRODUCER". A Standard Speaker would not have this as it could record and reproduce. The only chance then would be a Standard Speaker that was tinkered with by the use of non-matching parts. Certainly, a closer look underneath is always a good advice.

Early Automatics are also found with a blank wing.

I have two Standard Speakers and one of them has the "reproducer" on the wing. Life is like a box of chocolates.....

When I receive it from the seller, I'll post more pictures of it. Not sure what all it needs to get it up and running. I do know the bottom board of the case is missing so will be looking for that. If anyone has one , please pm me. In the mean time, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will arrive safely and will not be too difficult to repair. Thanks, Jan

From the pic, it looks pretty clean. Shouldn't be any trouble getting that back up and running. If the reproducer needs any repair, do not hesitate to get it to Steve Medved. His work is excellent and his pricing is very reasonable.
