Those look like 2-minute recorders for Columbia cylinder phonographs that were fitted with Lyric reproducers, such as models BK, BE, BF, BG and others. Somebody found a good deal on eBay.

I think they're Dictaphone recorders, or Columbia's version of a Dictaphone anyway.

The recorders look like they would do a splendid job, would be interesting to hear results of what a rebuilt, late model Columbia recorder sounds like.

I have one and would say they perform on par with an Edison. Condition is what matters most.
