This Mandel upright has been listed on my local craigslist for some time. I've been in contact with with lister for awhile, and I think i'm going to jump at it. It's in pretty good shape, running. I could get it for even less.

Looks like a nice machine. I would negotiate the price. There is one up here in Michigan City Antique Market, it has been for sale for at least a couple of years.

If I had the choice between this and the VV-XVI in the other thread, I would prefer the Victrola.

That's what makes me a little different from most collectors.

This machine does run, the victor didn't and I really don't want a project that big. I just really love off-brand machines and like the design of this mandel.

I've talked them down to $100, and I really think that's a fair deal. A running upright machine with a cabinet full of records.

So hopefully I'll have it by the end of next week.
