FOR SALE: Edison "Home" Horn $150 @Orlando Show

I would like to arrange for the sale or possibly a trade of a nice original Edison "Home" horn. I plan to attend the Orlando show on January 23rd.

The cost delivered to Orlando is $150.

If you are interested in a trade, I'm looking for an original clamp style crane of similar value. The crane would be period correct and suitable for use with an Edison Standard B with a 30" long horn. I'm flexible as to the manufacturer but would prefer Tea Tray Co..

If you are not planning to go to the Orlando show, but know someone that is and they could conduct the sale or trade on your behalf, that would work. Another option is we could arrange for the sale in advance and perhaps someone attending the show could transport the horn to you. There are forum members traveling from far reaches of the country to attend and one of them just might pass your location.

I would keep it and use it with my Standard B but I already have a "Standard" horn. The "Home" is actually in just a little nicer shape and I have considered keeping because it is in such nice shape. If I don't sell it at the show this time, that is what I 'll do.

I agree. A very reasonable price for a nearly perfect horn. If I was not so damned tight on space I'd buy the horn and search for a near perfect Home D model to match it. I think I saw that at Union last year. Really surprised you've not sold it!

Yes this is the same horn, I did try to sell or trade it at Union last year, but no takers then. I did have a potential buyer from England but the cost to ship overseas was crazy and he passed. Couldn't blame him.

If I don't sell it, I may just go ahead and do as you said, find a nice Home machine to go with it. Depending on the interest or lack of, I may be on the lookout for a good deal on a Home at the show this weekend I really don't have the space for another machine either and would rather just sell or trade the horn!
