The original instructions for repairing and adjusting the Exhibition are at the end of this article, Sound From Substance; Acoustic Design Reconsidered, by R.J. Wakeman. You can read it on the APS web site, here:

http://www.antiquephono.org/sound-subst ... j-wakeman/

Sincere thanks to all who support the Antique Phonograph Society! :)

There's a wealth of information in this article! Note, however, that in the color photo of the Exhibition there is no front gasket(s) visible, and there should be when looking at the box from this angle. :o

There was a reproduction of the Victor Repair manual which had information and parts for nearly all the machines. Is that not on line or for sale somewhere anymore? It has all the exact information on how to adjust the victor reproducers. Maybe I can copy it to get it to load here?

I hate this new computer, scanning something to I photo used to be so simple, now I can't get the scan to go anywhere. I guess its why I like phonographs.

The reference is to a publication "Victor Repair Manual," APM Facsimile No. 23, Published 1975. I obtained my copy from Allen Koenigsberg sometime back in the '80s. I can furnish address info but I have no idea whether Allen Koenigsberg is still among us. Anybody?

Allen is very much with us. :) He writes regular articles on a variety of subjects for The Antique Phonograph.

Thanks, George. The address I have for him is 502 East 17th St., Brooklyn, NY 11226. This info is 24 years old, though. Perhaps OP could write him and see whether any copies of No. 23 are available.

Just googled this: http://www.dinosaurdiscs.com/library/an ... ph-monthly. More info, incl. email address for AK.
