This is hideous

Why would someone buy this for 149.00 at art van furniture when you could have the real working radio or phono.

"Sappo London Home Radio - 1952"

I wonder how many radios with signet horn speakers were being made in 1952 ?

( Unless 1952 is a model number...)

This isn't really a reproduction anything, just an embellishment or attempt to bring an old look, feel and sound to modern devices... This probably supports an iPad like other similar ones hold iPods and iPhones.

My neighbors have a similar gizmo in their living room, and as Brianu noted above, it's hooked up to an Ipod. Theirs uses what appears to be a genuinely old Magnavox radio horn, but perhaps it's a horn copy with a passable Magnavox decal on it.

And the name "Sappo" suggests something more, too. (Hey, wasn't he the fifth Marx brother?)
