Please help Identify..

Post by cleveland1996 »

Hi Everyone..

I have a Columbia Client machine that I am trying to Identify..I haven't been able to match the trim work with anything that I have seen. The closest that I have found seem to suggest a Harvard...ideas folks?

Thanks
Joe

It looks like a Columbia product made after Columbia acquired Talk-O-Phone assets in a legal settlement. I've got something very similar but mine has the push/pull speed control in the front of the cabinet. I wish I could be more specific. Jerry

Thanks Jerry...

Mine should have the push/pull speed control also, but it is missing...it has the cutout for it

Our phono friend Harvey, phonofreak, called and identified the machine as a Col BWT which was sold as a client machine around 1910. He also concurred that it utilized a Talk-O-Phone cabinet in the settlement with Columbia. Jerry
