Glass plate negatives as late as 1950? Must have been a very conservative paper... :shock:

He had a nice positive image of it shown, did he take a photo of it, or was there a print with the negative?

I have a few glass, three different sized Kodak Autographic and a Brownie film negs that I need to digitize. Apparently I need to build a light box, and shoot them with my SONY a230 digital SLR to do this.

BTW, Rene, that's a very nice legacy, and I'm happy you could obtain it. Any idea how many other images there may be in existence?
