Ron Sitko

Post by benjaminh »

Has anyone here been able to get in touch with Ron these last two weeks? I've tried calling him on a nearly daily basis, always between 7-10 PM New York time, with no luck...

Hello,
I also phoned Ron Sitko five times over the course of a week but no luck. I ended up ordering off George Vollema. Unfortunately George is also on Holidays and will start shipping again after Feb 9th.

I often just send him my shopping list and he will ship it right out. Phone seems to be a problem at times, very hit or miss.

I just talked with Ron last night. He was on a bit of a vacation and also attended the Florida phonograph show. He is home now.

Ron could very well still be in Florida or on his way home as we speak.

After he drops off his load of ordered parts at the Orlando show he often vacations the week after the show. I'm guessing he will be available any day now.

Like Dave I often just send my parts list by mail if Ron is unavailable by phone, especially over the holidays.

Ron always spends the week after the show in Florida. He has family there. Now that I know he's home, I need to get my list together and call him next week.

I had a great experience shopping with Ron. I ordered two mainsprings for my Columbia B Eagle. The only cost 12.50 each. Everyone else wanted around $ 40.00 a spring and about $ 38.00 to put them in. I did them myself for less than $ 40.00.

Ron's mainsprings fit very well and are very strong.

I got in touch with Ron tonight. As always, he's a great guy to work with, and always my primary go to guy for reproduction parts.

I totally agree with the above post. Ron Sitko is a helpful and wonderful resource for all parts and repair issues.

I just ordered some parts from him and had no trouble getting in touch with him. Ron is semi-retired, and this is a busy time of year for him. Just keep calling after 7:pm and he will answer the phone.
