Hello I'm Nick AKA VictrolaBoy. Here is a picture of my diaphragm. Made of shellaced paper and cork. The link is made of three strands of button thread. This is the design Larry H really likes. I'm still trying to perfect it but so far I'm liking the sound it's producing. I'm a musician so I'm also very picky about tone.
Glad to meet you, Nick. :) Hope you're not intimidated by the strong interest some of us show in new diaphragm designs for Edison phonographs. But it's all good. I'm open-minded: the ear will be the judge. I'm not against anyone's efforts; just want Larry to know that he shouldn't abandon all the work he's done on his.

I'm eager to give yours a whirl once you've got some for sale.

Nick,
Your diaphragm looks great. I have an Edisonic reproducer in need of a new diaphragm and would be very eager to try one.
