Just for the hell of it, I emailed them asking if they still had the "recordplayer guts". I don't imagine they'll respond.

You tough guys can scoff all you want, but this would be the best casket ever in which to bury a cat. And it's already lined! With tasteful plaid!

Ya know what, buddy? I was thinking the same thing. Great bed for a little shyt zu or yorkie if they removed the radiator cover grille.

That repurposed cabinet would also be a tasteful way of concealing a chamber pot [AKA Thunder Mug]

Hence it would be a shyt yu, rather than for a shyt zu. I would, however upholster the edges with some padded crushed velvet.

True, you would not want to pick up any splinters.

Hmmm...combine the two lines of thought and it brings to mind the time I tried to sell on Craigslist the top part of a cut-down VV-X that I'd bought for parts and gutted (hey, five bucks, the soundbox alone was worth that!). I listed it as a "Genuine Downcycled 1918 Kitty-Litter Box with Hinged Top for Easy Cleaning". Somehow I couldn't attract a buyer, even at twenty, fifteen, or ten bucks; apparently it was an idea that, while undeniably brilliant, was too far ahead of its time to fly. As we are all geniuses here on the forum, I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment.

I'm full of good ideas, though. I also have years of experience in thinking up band names. You've all heard of (and probably rocked out to) The Pottycats and The Half-Edisons. That's right. Those were mine.
