Strange Credenza on YouTube

Post by Oceangoer1 »

Just saw this video of a Credenza playing on YouTube and the owner seems to be Hispanic/Latin so Im assuming this is in a different country. It doesn't have the correct reproducer on it, and it has a VV 4-20 ID plate glued onto the front grille. Its painted under the lid, and seems to be the tooled-leather version. Not sure whats going on here.....

beware... watching this for more than 20 seconds will likely cause severe dizziness and disorientation.

Damned fine example of what happens when your resources are limited, but your imagination and skill isn't. Clever tone arm support repair. Phillips head bolts notwithstanding. Brings back fond memories of my first phonograph. I recall I used a great deal of modeling clay, string and baling wire for the tone arm and a playing card for the diaphragm.
