Accepting offers. Thanks for looking.
I'm moving and have to consider downsizing, so I'm accepting offers for my Edison Opera in Oak.
For those collectors that appreciate a truly untouched 'attic fresh' look, this is your Opera.
The machine came to me completely untouched right out of an estate. It's completely original. Nothing has been done to the finish. The reproducer has been restored to play great by Steve Medved. Otherwise I just gave it a wipe down with a damp rag. Plays wonderfully and without issue. It is missing the pin that locks the latch that holds the bell to the elbow, the U shaped latch is there, its the corresponding pin thats gone, A screw is sitting in the hole and holds it just fine, It would be a very simple replacement.
It's a great Opera, with a wonderful consistent patina and much of the paint (90-95%) intact on the wood grained gooseneck. The patina from using the machine, including the warm copper tones on the on off switch and the spot where hands rested during winding add to the patina. Includes the lid as well. It has the dusting brush attached. Inside the case (not pictured) is an original screw driver and oil can, with oil can instructions included.
The horn has a pair of splits. I spoke with Don Gfell who can restore the horn, meaning its a standard kind of fix for the new owner.
I'm accepting offers and would prefer a local pickup in Long Island City NY, 11101. After March 1 pickup in The Bronx (right by Yankee Stadium).
Im open to shipping, but would prefer not. I cannot deliver or meet via car at all.
**The video file is a video thats only audio - black image. (you're not missing an image if you are thinking there needs to be one)
Thank you.

The lid is included and is in the same condition as the rest of the machine. I will get a picture up tonight. It even has the little felt ring on the inner side of the lid.

Seems like most offers are from out of state. Wanted to now offer shipping. Horn in one box, case in another, works in a third. Thanks.
