Happy Birthday to the Old Man

Post by AudioAntique »

Before you hit the hay tonight, spin a favorite record or cylinder for TAE. What other invention has brought so many people so much joy while creating an industry with so many jobs and income for millions.

He is the old man of us Edison entusiasts. I am including a nice photo I took, of Edison, from a Diamond Disc Dealer photo, that was in the jewlery store across the street, the frame matches my Marie Rappold dealer poster.

Happy Birthday Mr. Edison!

I quietly celebrated your birthday yesterday by reflecting upon the information collected in my Chippendale C 250/C 19 database; trying to understand/deduce your company's overall monthly production numbers for the model throughout it's many years of manufacturing. I wonder if you would please send me a report from the "other side"? :D

Sincerely, your Diamond Disc Phonograph "fan"-atic,
Fran
