I stumbled across this 1908 Herzog cabinet ad while looking for info on another Herzog cabinet.
It looks like the pictured cabinet this thread is about, is indeed a Herzog cabinet No.729 and advertised as a new design.(bottom right)
Herzog must not have made many of them or for very long.

The example pictured in the original post doesn't seem to have the ornately carved surfaces on the feet that we see in the catalog picture.

I also think it's bully that the 820 is also called the President Roosevelt Cabinet!
