FOR SALE: Disc Record Cabinet - $85

I am selling an interesting little disc record cabinet. The cabinet is 31" high and the top is 16.5" x 16.5" and seems the appropriate size for a Victor I, II, or III or similarly sized machine. I believe the cabinet was made by a local woodworker. The decorative oak pieces were applied to the sides. I think the cabinet is made from fir or pine with a faux woodgraining on all four sides. The two dog decals appear very old.

Back in the day, plans were available for making your own talking machine or record cabinet. A cabinet like this represents a nitch in our hobby that we don't often see. Any talking machine represented a major investment and a cabinet like this was probably a welcome addiition to a modest home.
