I keep learning here.. I was trying to do some recordings today and realized that from where I sit behind the microphone to where the microphone is actually located, which is a couple feet farther to the machine and lower than my ears, the sound was not quite as vibrant as what I hear as its recording. I didn't exactly want to have to change the tripod and settings but I went ahead and made three different videos which I only played here. This one picks up a closer sound to the one I am hearing and I think its about as good as I am going to get in my small room. Its surprising the difference moving back from the microphone makes when in person. I had to remove my larger sitting room chain and put a small kitchen chair so I could get behind it. Probably many won't hear the difference but I am pretty sure its there. I also had to raise the tripod as the sound was noticeably better at that height. Getting things just right in recording is quite a challenge it would seem.
This version of the record is a bit worn but the only one I have.

I deleted the video as when I played it back latter it sounded lousy.. Don't know if the volume was set too loud or the location of the microphone didn't work as I thought? I can't find the delete link on this message, anyone know where its at?
