Hiya folks,
I know this an incredibly remote possibility, but I wonder if anyone among us may have C 19 #89,808? I'd like to examine its cabinet finish.
Best,
Fran

That would be an extremely late C-19! Made in 1927 I would guess.

Actually, Tony, without getting too far into the topic, it would have been produced in mid to late 1919.

Re: Searching for Edison C 19 #89,808
Fran,
My apologies, You are correct.
I was thinking of Serial #189,808 and not #89,808. I was 100,000 units off..! I mis-read the original Serial number.
My 1926 made Mahogany finish C-19 is Serial number #170928. It has the 10" and 12" buttons and Orange felt on the bedplate for your C-19 records.
Also, Would you know the highest found Serial number of a C-19? I think that the highest that I have ever seen was in the 175,xxx or 176,xxx range. I don't remember seeing one higher..

"Tony, The highest I have recorded so far is #187,247."
Wow, That is quite high! Higher than I would have expected.
It would be great to see some pics of a c-19 machine in the 187,xxx range..
I'd like to see if there are any noticeable differences from earlier c-19 machines.
Thanks Fran.

My mistake; in the spirit of absolute accuracy, the highest C 19 serial number I have recorded is 187,153.NEFaurora wrote:"Tony, The highest I have recorded so far is #187,247."

I shouldn't try to remember all 360 Chippendales in my spreadsheet.
