Fraudulent eBay Listing

Despite my reporting to eBay, this listing remains active on the site. I am confident that there are unsuspecting, eager Forum members that are either bidding on this, or have this in their crosshairs.
I know the listing to be 100% fraudulent, as the photos are my photos that were lifted from a separate listing event several years past.

Wow, so you own the doll in the pics?

If you look at the sellers account there has not been any activity for over a year. This is usually the type of account that gets hacked for a scammer to list fake sales with.

I have had my pictures hijacked on several occasions by sellers who actually had a similar item but were too lazy to take proper pictures of their own. Not kosher, but not a total scam either.

On another occasion, a Hexaphone was offered and I recognized that the pictures were stolen from a website of a friend of mine. He told me that he had nothing to do with the eBay listing. I bought it, knowing it was a scam, and played along with the seller, who tried to divert me from using PayPal to a wire transfer out of the country. The entire incident was reported to eBay and the police, none of whom made the slightest effort on my behalf. They both said that there was no harm done (I had not paid), thus no crime. Ha ha.

If somebody buys this doll, before paying they should insist on a picture taken alongside a current dated newspaper before remitting money. That might help prove the existence of the doll or not, and scare off a scamster. And make payent by PayPal, using a credit card for extra protection.
