FOR SALE: Off Brand very unusual machine - INQUIRE
OFFERS: This machine has been discussed a couple of times on this forum but I have never been able to identify the manufacturer of this big unusual photograph. Small under-powered single spring motor, big faux metal drum in the center sandwiched between two dark oak boards held together by four dark oak post which hide four long studs keeping it all together, big cast iron grille, 10" turn table, Perfection reproducer. The only thing I have ever done was to replace the turn table felt which was missing, and rebuild the Perfection reproducer. All the plating on the tonearm is mostly worn off. Barely plays through an entire 10" record, very under-powered for such as large machine 18x18x11. Yet it does crank up and play. I honestly don't even know what to ask for this machine but it is a really unusual design for sure. But I can bring it to Wayne this coming April.

Is the arm on this machine original? It looks too short judging by the pictures. Also, it looks like the flange is overhanging the case slightly. Just curious.

"...I have never been able to identify the manufacturer of this big unusual phonograph."
"Obviously", It is a "Perfection machine made in New England"... maybe. I have seen your posts on this machine before, and actually find it to be interesting... although it might be a completely made up machine.

I have never modified the machine - it is exactly how I found it. The tonearm is original as far as I can tell although most of the plating is worn off. Very small motor for such a large machine.....
