I did find the serial number on my late AH. It is 110708. It must be a late one. It has the banner decal and the shield decal with the 1904 St. Louis Fair Grand Prize. The reproducer on mine has the 1905 markings. I'll have to get back with the serial number with the other AH's I have.

I don't know the serial number on this one and it's 5,000 miles away so I won't be able to check until June.

Of interest in addition to the petite horn itself is that it has an eyelet so it could also be adapted for use with a cylinder machine.

The early AH is another of the mystery machines, no serial number. I have had this motor out under a 10" lighted desk magnifying glass searching every surface, edge, post etc.
If there is a clue of where it might or should me, someone let me know.

As for that early AH, I'm starting to believe those owners who swear there's no serial number on it. If there were, they (and you) would have found it.

Mine is stamped on a corner of the motor mounting plate, under the turntable.

Sorry for the delay in listing this, I have had a lot on my plate lately. My AH is a early one with the offset crank.
The serial number is 7778. It has no record hold down, Plate motor, Solid traveling arm with "Columbia" on it, solid support arm with Arabesque decoration, and leather horn elbow. Hope that this helps.
