One of the hottest jazz/dance Edison Diamond Discs ever recorded/released: #51661, "FIVE FOOT TWO EYES OF BLUE (HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY GIRL?)" and "CLAP HANDS! HERE COMES CHARLEY!" Fox Trots by Golden Gate Orchestra.

"Clap Hands!" side feature a fabulous bass sax solo by Adrian Rollini who is one of my all time favorite jazz artists during Golden Gate Orchestra's FINEST years! I still get goosebumps whenever I listen to Rollini's solo on the Clap Hands! side.

If you're a fan of Golden Gate Orchestra on Edison and you don't have this one then you'll do yourself a favor by adding this one to your collection.

The record plays well on both sides. There are some scuffs, surface scratches and average play wear present on both sides. One shallow, harmless needle drop near the start of the CLAP HANDS side clicks for about 8 to 10 seconds. And, finally, the record labels are replacements as I purchased the record without labels. The only reason I'm considering selling this record is that I have another copy.
