Louisville Figured Walnut VV-230 Cabinet Needs Saving!

Quick, somebody needs to go check this out. There's a beautiful, Circassian walnut cabinet from a VV-230 on Louisville Craigslist, that the seller is trying to sell as a vanity or minibar project

Maybe they have the parts?? Probably not but this deserves to be restored.

At $575 it is worth the effort of a phone call to see if they have the mechanism because it's beautiful walnut. Thanks for starting this thread. Jerry

I just emailed them to see. I'll let you know what they say.

This machine would use the Victrola 4 spring motor, and gold plated. The two toughest parts would be the motor board,horn, and possibly the crank escutcheon. If one has these parts, it would be worth restoring.

I checked and they do not have the works. Sad but at that price for the cabinet i think it is out of reach. At least for me
