Not exponential but what a size

Post by chunnybh »

This exhibit is erected just outside the science museum in Hong Kong. It's part of a multi-cultural exhibition
It's a huge metal horn fitted with hidden speakers. The opening is fitted with a microphone so you can sing along with pre-recorded songs. There are 5 songs in rotation and each is in a different language.
The horn faces a huge street opening and can be heard way down it. Would not want to live there but I was gobsmacked.

Cool!

1. Space will expand to accommodate an infinite number of possessions, regardless of their size.
2. Shortage of finance, however dire, will never prevent the acquisition of a desired object, however improbable its cost.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if you parked an outside horn machine with a large horn in front of that...

Would be interesting to make an adapter at the small end and hook it to a cylinder recorder, and see what it would pick up.

I wonder how it would look on my Edison Gem?

I wonder how loud it would be if you hooked it to an Auxetophone. I bet it would be pretty loud.
