I have been looking for a VI, but 600.00 for a nicely done re-finished one and a bad stylus?

$600.00 for a machine with so many issues, though nice-looking, is very high, in my opinion. Add the cost of reproducer rebuild/stylus replacement at at least $100.00, plus no Edison decal due to the refinish job (the bedplate and pinstriping are very good). The front grill may be a new replacement. Plus, with a VI, the level of motor noise might be an issue. Shipping and handling costs add to the total, which would bring you over $800.00.

This seller is about an hour from me. He lists machines on ebay and craigslist. He alternates back and forth. His prices are high, and they never sell. If you are patient, you can find this machine in all original condition, much cheaper.

Thanks guys. I will wait. I didn't even notice the decal was missing. This guy doesn't answer e-mails also. I wouldn't buy anything from him.

I would just wait. The reproducer rebuilds can be expensive. I always factor in 100.00 off the price for a reproducer rebuild,
Same with Diamond Disc machines.
