Waiting for some sucker to buy this, the seller has better odds in the lottery.

Attractive case, might be worth $100 to $200 depending on the condition. Very pretty grille.

You beat me to the punch. If the seller takes away 4 of the 0's, then the price will be fair. I do think it is an attractive off-brand machine. One little detail that I did notice: the Bluebird decal on the lid looks very similar to the early Bluebird label by Victor. Did anyone else notice this?estott wrote:Attractive case, might be worth $100 to $200 depending on the condition. Very pretty grille.

I have several of the BlueBird records made by this company. It's the same bird as on the machine. No affiliation with RCA Victor as this company predates the Victor Bluebird records by a decade.Phonofreak wrote:You beat me to the punch. Interesting machine, and indeed extremely rare, but in this case rarity doesn't really translate into $$$ as it shares parts with other regional makes like Mandel, Cheney, etc.

Here's an example of the non-RCA related Blue Bird record label.
