Congratulations to the winning bidder

Post by audiophile102 »

There was an ebay auction of a Edison 250 in New York which sold for only $92.06! Quite a steal of a deal. Congratulations to the winner. :D

Not bad! :)

I was intrigued by one of the 'suggestions' that appeared on that page: a Standard B with the top works repainted maroon, and an Ekonowatt motor...

It looks like it was a C-19, not a C-250, and an early C-19 at that.

What a deal! It looks like a clean, intact machine too.

I would be interested in the story on this one now. Same person putting it back up for $650? Any ideas :?: :?:

How does one "back out" after the sale is final, is my question. If a person purchased it for $93 how do you cancel the transaction on them? Just trying to understand the situation.

If you look at both the original posting and the relisted one I believe that it didn't reach the reserve on the first posting. On the second on he put a buy it now price.

I had it on my watch list and never saw a "reserve not met" on it. I notice now it's in red, though I didn't yesterday. I'm not sure how I might have missed that, but I guess it's possible. :|

I, too checked both listings. I did not see a reserve on the first auction. I hope the winning bidder gives this character a neg. feedback and reports him to ebay. If I was in that situation, that's what I would do.
