Anyone recognise this ? Is it a device for attaching listening tubes to a phonograph ?

Trying to be serious now, it does look like some type of air manifold...

The lifting eye confounds me...

Perhaps a gas manifold for lab burners ?

Slippery, I looked it up yesterday just after you posted based on your milking machine comment and you are 100% correct. Folks here are sometimes a bit hard of listening
