Help identifying model for Columbia phonograph
I have tried to identify which model it is and from what year, but have not found anything quite like it from the web. Can anyone help us with this? Thanks!

Re: Help identifying model for Columbia phonograph
Probably one of the many "Overseas" models never catalogued by Columbia in the UK.
Very little information exists as to when and where these machines were made, but there is usually a model number somewhere on the case. Try looking under the turntable if you have not already done so.

This Columbia has some very similar fittings to my French "His Master's Voice", which was actually manufactured under licence by Pathé. As HMV and Columbia were amalgamated in 1931, it would suggest that yours also came from the Pathé factory after this date.

Yes, exactly the same motor, too. I guess that definitely answers part of your question at least. Not made in any of the Columbia factories, but made under licence by Pathé.
