I would suggest that you send it off to Steve Medved to be professionally rebuilt / repaired. The cost is more than reasonable and he will ensure that every single detail is perfect. You'll be amazed at how much better it will sound. And you won't have your skating problem anymore.

Definitely, get that reproducer off to Steve Medved. I sent him my Edison DD reproducer for rebuild, he is very knowledgeable about these Edison reproducers. I am excited to get mine back and hear it. When I can, I will eventually get this Diamond C rebuilt by him.

Anymore, I rather enjoy the music than fiddle with a reproducer all day.
