Source for Berliner Fiber Gear

Post by Phonomark »

Its a difficult decision, but I am looking to replace the fiber gear in my Berliner Ratchet Wind. It has several teeth in a row that are thin as a thread. Makes the motor even noisier than normal and I'm sure it will only get worse. I counted teeth a dozen times and the consensus is that there are 147 teeth.

Does anyone have a source for a replacement gear? Or does anyone have one for sale?

I believe Ron Sitko has these. You can search his name for contact information.

Darren Wallace in Canada has those with the correct pressure angle. I don't have his contact information! Maybe someone here does!
